Layla is here!
Most of you have already heard that Layla Theresa Alis is here. She was born Oct 22nd at 7:50pm, she weighed 8.3lbs and was 20" tall. She is in my opinion a mini Pete :) We are all adjusting well and are excited for the holidays. We hope everyone is doing good. To see pictures of Layla you can check out this link. http://www.facebook.com/TimeIsLovePhotography Love to all!!!

October
October is almost here... which means so is Layla :) I had my first paying client for my photography last week, and am hoping to have more soon, if you want to see them here is a link to the photos I have done so far, www.facebook.com/timeislovephotography. Pete is getting buck fever so we are going to be making as many trips as we can up to Eddie and Treva's so he can get out and hopefully get something. Zaylie is doing well, she is working on being fully potty trained (bed time and naps are still had in pull ups) and we are trying to get her to stay in her room all night, she has been coming in our room almost every morning between 1-4 am. She is going to be Izzy from Jake and the neverland pirates for Halloween, and loves dancing around like a ballerina. I feel as though I am running out of room in my belly for miss Layla and have a hard time getting comfortable, I would have no problem if she decided to make an early appearance. :) We hope all is well with everyone and there will be pictures of Layla up as soon as she gets here! <3 p="p">3>

2012
So I realize its been forever since I have updated this blog, and I apologize. I am going to start keeping better track of it and keeping it updated. Whats new with us... Pete got orders to PCS to Camp Pendleton, CA in January so we will be moving! We are also having another baby girl, she is due on Oct 30th and will be named Layla Theresa Alis. Zaylie is getting bigger than ever and she is as sharp as a tack. I am trying to start a photography business that I will do on the side and Pete is looking forward to moving and hunting season. We are all really excited about the next 6 months and cannot wait to welcome miss Layla into the world! We hope you are all doing well! Love to you all.

6 months old & South America!!!
As you know Zaylie is now 6 months old. She weighs 18lbs and 2oz and is 26 inches tall. She is starting to talk more (she said her first word yesterday "dada"). She is also starting to crawl backwards. Pete is in Florida right now he will be leaving for South America sometime within the next week. He will be gone until April/May time frame. As for me I am just working and spending as much time as I can with Zaylie and the dogs, until I get out of the marines and Pete gets back. Thats it for now. We hope everyone has a great Holiday Season!

September
Hello everyone,
I am very sorry we have not updated the blog since Zaylie was born but we have been very busy. Anyways, Zaylie is doing great she is so smart and alert, and very advanced compaired to most 4 month olds. She has traveled to NY to visit some of Peters family, on that trip she did very well with the car ride and the change of pace. August was an extreemly busy month for us, we were in Raleigh every weekend. She is growing very fast and we are trying to take as many pictures as possible. She sits up with support and is talking away. We do have some bad news, she has an upper respritory infection right now which we are doing our best to keep under control. Peter and I are doing well, I am starting the process to get out of the Marines and Peter is moving along his process to go to MARSOC. We hope everyone is doing well. And if you would like to see more pictures of Zaylie you can go to http://www.circleofmoms.com/kid.php?kid=5876745&trk=drop_menu_my_children
